LIOR NAGOLA

On September 15th at around 7am, I received a phone call from a NO CALLER ID and subsequently a voicemail was left in my inbox.

 

Here’s a transcript of the voicemail:

“Uhm – yes good morning uhm Mr. Gur-ghee-roldini – inaudible – from the 9th precinct, we have a gentleman in our precinct claiming that you have been harassing him over the phone. I’m just calling you to discuss the matter. I would advise you not to uhm call him anymore and refrain from making any threats to him, he doesn’t, you know he doesn’t appreciate the uhm harassment. All right so if you have any questions you call the 9th Precinct of New York City 2124777813. You don’t have to call me back but I just would advice that you stop harassing this gentleman because you could wind up getting arrested if you continue, okay? Have a good day and if you have any questions you can call the 9th precinct in regards. Best, take care bye-bye…”

It goes without saying that I haven’t been harassing or threatening anyone over the phone, and actually I haven’t been in contact with Lior Nagola for at least two months, and therefore the report he filed is without a doubt false and its sole purpose is to harass me. Unfortunately this is a common tactic abusive individuals use to intimidate their victims into silence.

I called the 9th Precinct to let them know that this was not the first time Lior Nagola had harassed me by having officers contact me in regards to false claims. Back in July he falsely claimed to police officers that I had locked him out of my NYC apartment, when actually I had been living in California for months, and he had suddenly left the apartment in June and had given his keys to Monika.

We aren’t scared of telling our story and we hope to inspire victims out there to go public with their experiences as well. Remember kids, bullying, harassment and intimidation are unacceptable. Calling out this behavior is the only way to prevent it from happening again.

On Friday, September 14th at around 5am, I received a text message from Monika asking me what did Lior Nagola want from her again.

When I woke up two hours later, she told me that Lior Nagola had repeatedly called her phone with a NO CALLER ID and sent her frightening text messages, accusing her of being an accessory to a crime for sending me the conversation between her and Lior where he attempted to extort money from her.

Now hold on a minute. Imagine being the victim of attempted extortion and threats, pushed to the brink of a mental breakdown and months later being accused by your own abuser of committing a crime for speaking up about your story. This is scandalous, but sadly it’s also a common strategy abusive individuals use to keep their victims from going public with their stories. I asked Monika if she could confirm the story as it appears on this website and she replied that it all was correct, cute and funny.

On Sunday June 10th, at around 11:30 am I received a text message from Monika asking me if we could speak on the phone.

Monika was my new roommate. She had only been at my apartment for about a week. My previous roommate, Lior Nagola had suddenly lost his job and moved out of my New York City apartment before the end of his written agreement. Lior took it upon himself to find Monika and arranged for her to stay at my apartment until the end of August.

When I picked up the phone, I could tell right away that something was wrong. Monika was crying and I could hardly understand what she was saying. When she finally composed herself, she told me that my ex roommate, Lior Nagola had threatened to kick her out of my apartment and tried to extort a $900 “fee” from her. I assured her that nobody was going to kick her out of my apartment and that she didn’t have to pay Lior any “fee”. We spoke on the phone for about thirty minutes and at the end of our conversation she shared with me some of the text messages that Lior had sent her. I was appalled. Lior had terrorized this poor girl and brought her close to a mental breakdown.

How did Lior think he was gonna get away with harassing Monika and trying to extort money off of her while she was living under my roof, is beyond me and I think speaks volumes about the moral depravity of this individual. After becoming aware of Lior’s abusive behavior I couldn’t stomach the idea of another girl suffering the same fate as Monika. I felt the responsibility to warn others and let them know her story. Ever since I shared Monika’s story online, Lior has tried to get me evicted by repeatedly harassing my landlord and tried to get me fired by reporting this website to my employer. I will nevertheless continue to tell my story, as I believe it is in the public interest for people to know what this individual has done to helpless victims like Monika. The most important thing when someone bullies you is to speak up about it! Ghost bully thinks he can get away with his abuse because no one will report him, but Cute Pinguino knows better!! If you are ever threatened or harassed make sure to ask for help. Remember kids, Bullying is NEVER okay!
